Arriving to Cyprus

Conference delegates arriving in Cyprus may enter the Republic of Cyprus only through the two International Airports; Larnaca International Airport (LCA) and Paphos International Airport (PFO) (please note that entry via any other airport is illegal). A large number of international and national airlines connect the island to Europe and the world, including low cost airlines (e.g. Ryanair, Cobalt, EasyJet, Blue Air, Germanwings, Vueling, Transaero, Monarch), as well as many 'national' carriers (e.g. Aegean, Lufthansa, British Airways, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Austrian, Alitalia, Swiss). As Cyprus is a popular tourist destination (3-3,5 million people visit the island every summer) charter flights could also be a great option for even cheaper flights. These flights are offered by big holiday operators, such as Thomson and Thomas Cook, and start as early as April every year.

Distances (airports to Nicosia)

  • The Larnaca International Airport is located about 50km (31 miles) from Nicosia.
  • The Paphos International Airport is located about 142km (88 miles) from Nicosia.

From airport to Nicosia (and hotels)

Conference delegates have the following three options for their transfers from airports to Nicosia (and hotels):

The vehicles used for passengers’ transportation are eight-seater taxis fully air-conditioned. Prices from Larnaca Airport to Nicosia ranging between €11 to €13, while from Paphos Airport to Nicosia between €23 to €25.
