Message from the President
Permit me, on behalf of the Comparative Education Society in Europe (CESE), to welcome you to our new Website. I am delighted this is located in Cyprus (in real space) but even more pleased that it exists in virtual space.
Please accept my invitation to explore the Website. I would welcome your initial reactions to our effort and your suggestions to improve it would be greatly appreciated. I am pleased it contains a series of crucial links reflecting recent developments in our Society such as our recently-established affiliation with the Journal of European Education.
However, the Website will not be fully stabilised for some time, but we hope to use it more and more for our basic communications.
You will remember the first website which I personally established in Granada. This began to be the place also where we would keep a parallel archive, electronically, just as we have a paper archive in the London Institute of Education’s Library. As you know I am fascinated by the history of CESE as well as its future, so do let me know if you have any interesting papers which should be in either of our archives.
